The Simons Foundation Autism Research Initiative (SFARI) is hosting an event focused on bringing together basic science and clinical researchers for speed networking.

The Simons Foundation welcomes all COSYNE 2025 attendees to join us for a social at Le Centre Sheraton, Salon ABC. Scientific staff from the Simons Foundation’s neuroscience collaborations will be available to answer questions about research supported by the foundation, funding opportunities and resources that have been generated for the scientific community. Team members from The Transmitter, the foundation’s editorially independent publication for neuroscientists, will also be in attendance.

The Simons Foundation Autism Research Initiative (SFARI) hosted a social lunch at the American Society of Human Genetics (ASHG) 2024 Annual Meeting focused on research, funding opportunities and resources for human cohorts, including SPARK and Simons Searchlight.

All Society for Neuroscience annual meeting attendees are welcome to join Simons Investigators and scientific staff from the Simons Foundation Autism Research Initiative (SFARI), Smons Collaboration on the Global Brain (SCGB), and Simons Collaboration on Plasticity and the Aging Brain (SCPAB) for an evening of socializing and updates.

The IBRO-Simons Computational Neuroscience Imbizo, or isiCNI is an opportunity for African and international students to learn about cutting edge research techniques in computational neuroscience. The format of the school will be a combination of intensive lectures on advanced topics in computational and theoretical neuroscience as well as practical exercises in simulation and data analysis. In addition, students will perform a mini-research project under the supervision of one of the school tutors, to be presented at the end of the school. Application deadline: Thursday 20 Oct 2022
